The linguistic and audio-visual centre (CLAV) of the University of Udine is interdepartmental and works principally with language teaching, the production of audio-visual and multimedia material and consultation and help with audio-visual problems.

• Language Courses for external users
• Courses of Italian for internal and external foreigners
• Linguistic placement Tests (to establish the level of knowledge)
• Tests of linguistic level (for the aquisition of CFU)
• Evaluation of linguistic competence (English B1) for teachers at primary school
• Video production
• Registration of audio and interactive multimedia software for teaching.
• Consultation for learning and self study
• Updating and improving language teaching techniques
• Support service for teaching and research with particular attention on helping and consultation over management of audio visual problems at the university

The linguistic services are aimed at the students, teachers and the technical/administrative personnel to improve learning and teaching of foreign languages.
